MS student opportunity!  I am seeking an MS student to work on a science pedagogy project, on removing barriers to study abroad and increasing participation, for a spring break study abroad version of Intro Bio lab we run in Costa Rica. MS student will analyze assessment data collected already, collect additional data, and prepare conference presentations and one or more manuscripts. Contact me for details (mckinnonj@ecu.edu); course info elsewhere on this site. To start Jan or Aug, 2026.

I think that by retaining one’s childhood love of such things as trees, fishes, butterflies and . . . toads, one makes a peaceful and decent future a little more probable.
